Garnishes- these are used to add flavor when the dish is done cooking
When making a stir fry dish, you should ensure that you are able to control the fire under the wok to avoid burning the dish or making a mess of the whole thing.
The wok is preheated before adding some oil to it. The oil is drizzled down the sides to ensure it covers the whole surface. After this the garlic onions and other aromatic are stirred. These will permeate the oil and enable the spread of the flavor to other ingredients.
The aromatics are the removed and the already prepared protein added. After this the vegetables are also added. After the addition of all ingredients, a spatula is used to stir the food turning it from side to side on itself. After all this the sauce is then added to finally season the food before taking it off the heat
Remember one rule when cooking with a wok. Hot wok, cold oil, the food won’t stick. In the case where the wok is new, you need to do something called breaking the wok.
